On Saturday, August 16th, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi were married in a backyard ceremony with a quaint 25 guests.  I think it’s just wonderful! As with a lot of lesbians I’m sure, Ellen played an emense role in the acceptance of myself. Not only seeing her show, “Ellen” and the coming out episode, but also with her fearless ‘this is me, take it or leave it’ attitude. Since then I’ve been a huge fan. And Portia…well, not only is she beautiful, but she’s like my femme lesbian idol!
